WHEN MOST PEOPLE ASK YOU TO PRAY ABOUT SOMETHING, they are asking you to petition God, to ask God, on their behalf. Prayer is more than setting petitions before God, but it involves asking. God invites us to come to him and ask. By asking we recognize our complete dependence on God for everything.
As we ask God for things that matter to us, we should also thank him for what he has done.
